Installation was quick and straightforward, and we had instant internet as soon as we landed in Bali. No need to search for a local SIM card after a long flight, which was a huge plus.

Goodbars offers three Bali & Indonesia eSIM plans on the Telkomsel network: 10GB for €13.99, 20GB for €19.99 and 50GB for €39.99. All are valid for 30 days with speeds up to 100/20 Mbps on 5G.
Can I activate my eSIM before I arrive in Indonesia?
Yes! Activate your eSIM before you leave home, and the validity period will start counting once your phone connects in Indonesia.
Why can't I connect to the internet?
Make sure roaming is turned on for your Goodbars eSIM, and it is selected as your primary mobile network. If it still doesn't work, check whether Telkomsel is the selected network.
What if my eSIM is about to expire and I still have GBs left?
Buying a Goodbars top-up extends your eSIM's validity period by the number of days shown on that top-up package.
What internet speed can I expect with Goodbars?
Up to 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload on Telkomsel's 5G network, with fast LTE/4G in areas where 5G isn't available yet.
Why does my eSIM only support LTE/4G in some areas?
Our network partner Telkomsel is working hard on expanding 5G coverage. Most of Kuta, Denpasar and Canggu support 5G. Other areas will have super fast LTE.
Does the Goodbars eSIM work outside Bali?
Yes. Goodbars runs on Telkomsel, Indonesia's largest mobile network, so it works across Indonesia wherever Telkomsel has signal, from Java to Lombok and beyond.
Is the Goodbars eSIM data-only?
Yes, the Goodbars eSIM is data-only and doesn't support regular calls or SMS. You can make calls via apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, or other VoIP services.
Can I turn on my personal hotspot?
Yes, hotspot (tethering) is supported. You can enable it in your device settings and share your data with other devices. Note that usage will count toward your data allowance.
Do I need a local ID?
No. The Goodbars eSIM is 100% tourist-friendly: buy it online from anywhere, no Indonesian ID required.
Can I use this together with my regular SIM?
Absolutely. Most phones support dual SIM. You can use your physical SIM for calls and texts, while using the Goodbars eSIM for mobile data, both at the same time.
Which devices work with Goodbars eSIM?
Most modern smartphones support eSIM, including iPhone XS and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, and Google Pixel 3 and newer. Many tablets, laptops, and smart-watches work too. Check your device settings or manual to confirm eSIM support.
